Forgot your Apple ID password? Here's how to Reset an Apple ID Password

The app store password allows you to access the iTunes store, a virtual store that allows you to purchase downloads including music, videos, and apps for your Apple products including iPods, iPads and iPhones. To purchase products from the app store in iTunes, you have to enter your Apple ID password; however, if you forgot your apple id password, you can reset it in minutes.

Instructions if Forgot your Apple ID password

1. Go to the My Apple ID Page forgot password: https://iforgot.apple.com/password/verify/appleid
2. Enter your Apple ID in the open box and click "Next." When prompted, select the authentication method you want to use to reset your password. For example, select "Email authentication" if you want to receive an email to help you access your account information and change your password. Select "Answer security questions" if you want to reset your password by answering the security questions you selected when you originally created your Apple ID app store password.
3. Enter your birth date and click "Next." Answer the security questions and select the new password you want to use. Confirm your selection to reset your password.
4. Log in to your email account if you selected "Email." Click the link in the email from Apple to reset your password.
5. Navigate to your email account if you choose the "Email Authentication" method. Open the "How to Reset Your Apple ID Password" email from Apple.
6. Read over the information provided in the message, then click the "Reset Your Apple ID Password" link. A "Create a New Password" webpage loads.

Enter your new password, then click the "Reset Password" button to complete the procedure.
